New England Boatworks is seeking candidates for year round, full-time employment who are looking to work in a cutting edge environment on some of the world's high profile projects.
Composite Boatbuilder – Composite applicants should have knowledge in pre-peg and vacuum bag infusion techniques along with an understanding of hi-tech materials.
Marine Carpenter – Experienced with cabinetry building and installation, repairs and modifications, teak decking, and ship fitting, some fiberglass experience is helpful.
Marine Mechanic – Experienced in all aspects of marine diesel engine and systems installation, repair and troubleshooting. Candidates must be familiar with all aspects of service and new construction with strong organizational skills. Minimum 10 years in the related field with ABYC certification preferred.
Marine Electrician – Experienced marine electrician wanted for busy full service boatbuilding facility and marina. Candidates must be familiar with all aspects of service and new construction with strong organizational skills. Minimum 10 years in the related field with ABYC certification preferred.
Air Conditioning/Refrigeration – Experienced refrigeration and air conditioning tech with strong electrical and mechanical skills. Candidates must possess current EPA refrigeration handling license.
Yacht Painter – Applicants should have knowledge in fairing, preparation and application of urethane and enamel finishes and varnish work. Experience in spray application is preferred.
Yacht Rigger – Candidate must be able to perform complete sailboat rigging, repairs, commissioning and yearly inspections. Should be familiar with load handling and hand signals to equipment operators.
Security Guard – Seeking a security guard for 2nd and 3rd shifts. 5 years experience in a similar position is preferred.
