NEB 42

Maine yacht designers are famous for favoring common sense over the dictates of fashion. That trait comes through loud and clear in the classic lines of the Spencer Lincoln-designed NEB 42 being built by NEB. Evolved from rugged fishing-boat hulls, the 42's fine, graceful entry slices through waves without pounding and provides a smooth, dry ride. The NEB 42 is a capable passagemaker for extended cruising (and her 20-knot cruising speed will expand the cruising grounds for day trips). And the boat also has the right stuff to qualify as a serious, all-weather sportfishing vehicle. The NEB 42 is available as a sedan with an enclosed main cabin and large open cockpit or as an aft-cabin flybridge cruiser (main picture above) with three sleeping cabins; choose between a teak, cherry, or mahogany interior. Like all NEB boats, the 42 is custom-built to the owner's specs. Also available: the NEB 31, 35, 38, 42, and 48.
